Re: POST-BUFF PATRIOT BEST SKILL CHAMP CONFIRMED!
@captain_rogers Nah Luke Cage is the best cosmic champ bro. You need to learn your classes… that was embarassing. 🤧
Re: Gold Is Worthless

Gold is steadily growing, back in the days it was a huge bottleneck

Re: Is Doom the next “event” champ?
Having events like these to me is ok. Refusing to have a release cadence into basic Pool or saying they don’t have plans of releasing them is what rubs me the wrong way. It’s ok to sell champs but at least release them to the basic pool in a year or so.

Re: State of BGs Post-J4
I love the dynamic that J4 deals are trash while simultaneously whales have too big of an advantage. In spite of this, many people hoped that the Odins would also give a full r4 gem, further increasing that gapYou're correct about the dynamic, but you can't group everyone into the same camp on both sides.
More to the point, however, I think whales (and I honestly hate this term, let's say big spenders) don't really care how bad the deals are.
Sure, the big spenders max out every sales event.
But they're also the ones buying up every in-between sale.
You know, those $50 for 6300 T7B and 19,000 T4A deals we see on random weekdays.
Those 5 7* sig stones for $20 deals.
Look at some of these rosters; you can't compile something like that just with maxing out the sales events.
They are spending 24/7/365. We're talking about tens of thousands of dollars a year.
And that's cool to support the game, but when these rosters take over BG, they also change the competitive ecosystem of the game.
They raise the financial threshold of competition.
So are they "ruining" the game?
In some ways, I think yes.
Re: State of BGs Post-J4
Which is kinda crazy if you think about it because the only two things you can buy with radiance that you can't buy with cash are the mastery point and the Spider-Punk emote. And those two can be purchased by most competitive players after one season of BG and AW.They're in celestial. Who cares? If they have those rosters and in celestial then they deserve to be there. You can't pay your way to the top of BGs. You have to have skill too.Its not just celestial, its everywhere that gives a meaningful amount of radiance (meaning M3 and up) . Below that you get 60% less radiance in Quantum. Arcane and gamma basically give the same radiance
So then you look at all these decks with 10, 12, 15 R4s, and knowing how much money that cost, and knowing that the radiance reward won't even buy you a single R4, you have to wonder what is the actual motivation.
Just to feel like a winner when you crush someone with less shameless rosters?
Does that make these people feel like winners?
To each their own I guess...
Re: Goodbye MCoC
I think its a feeling shared by many or some are on the fence hoping for that 1 thing that will change their minds.
Best wishes, was good to have input and criticism that made sense in the forums

Drank a bit too much hater tears on the way.

Re: State of BGs Post-J4
Moving aside from Lags or KT1 or any other content creator or their motivations, the basic idea you're parroting that the deals are bad value but also necessary to be competitive is illogical.there's nothing hypocritical about it. an offer can be both necessary and poor value at the same time. he's getting it to be competitive in the summoner showdown and mcoc/youtube also is his job.The funniest part is when he tries to justify his hypocrisy lmfao if the deals are so bad then you don't need to spend to keep up since y know they're bad and a flop.No comment bout legacy's wrong predictions? Blink twice if you need help.Lags?
Oh you mean this guy?
If the deals are really bad, then you shouldn’t need them to stay competitive—because if you do need them, that means they actually have value, and they’re not bad.
It's like some people don't understand that value in this game comes from "relative advantage."
If the current deals give you an advantage over other players, then those deals are valuable.
That's why people buy the deals.
The "value" complaint you're probably thinking of is actually not a complaint about value at all, but rather a complaint about the ridiculously high price of maintaining a competitive edge in this game.
